Why UV DTF is not the shirt transfer
UV DTF transfers are pressure-applied hard-good decals. They are made for smooth surfaces such as cups, bottles, glass, acrylic, metal, plastic, packaging and promotional products.
Shirts flex, stretch, wash and breathe differently. For normal apparel, use apparel DTF, screen printing, embroidery or another garment decoration method instead.
- Use apparel DTF for shirts
- Use UV DTF for hard goods
- Use screen printing for larger apparel runs
- Use embroidery for stitched apparel branding
Where UV DTF does win
UV DTF wins when the item is a hard surface and the customer wants a premium full-color decal without heat pressing or vinyl weeding.
